Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Regional Business Manager to join our team operating in the South East area.

 

About the role:

 

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for the sales team in the Southeast.  You will be accountable for achieving the targets set by the company whilst motivating and leading a successful team to deliver these results.

 

You will also:

 

  • Make a difference for diabetic patients by developing One Touch brand products and services with our existing and prospective contacts and customers (medical and paramedical professionals: endocrinologists, nurses, etc.).

 

  • Manage your sector in line with defined objectives and reporting in terms of frequency and coverage

 

  • Know your environment through product knowledge and regular competitive intelligence

 

  • Work in collaboration with our Inside sales team

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

Sales team management

 

  • Identifying employees' talents and helping them to develop so that they are able to cope with changes in the company and the market
  • Implementing plans to help employees in difficulty return to performance
  • Defining, monitoring and assessing the quality and quantity of employees' activities, and proposing corrective measures
  • Working with the Sales Excellence Manager to define the key performance indicators for the sales teams
  • Analysing and monitoring the achievement of objectives in terms of results and activity, and proposing corrective measures
  • Implements and monitors the application of the company's strategy at regional level (price, margin, target)
  • Define and manage product resources/marketing tools at regional level
  • Manage the regional operating budget

 

Contribution to sales development

 

  • Defines and submits a short-term (business plan) and medium- or long-term (strategic plan) operational sales execution plan to the Director France, in collaboration with the Key Accounts, Finance and Marketing departments
  • Participates in defining annual qualitative and quantitative targets for the region and each sector
  • Participates in drawing up the sales policy, in collaboration with the Director for France
  • Managing communication between the field team and head office, collecting and passing on to the relevant people all data relating to the competition and the business environment
  • Developing any relationships with regional opinion leaders that are likely to consolidate and improve the company's position and image in its markets

Key Experience Requirements

Required skills:

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have In-depth knowledge of the target market, products, customers and competition. Along with the ability to remain open-minded and flexible when presented with different perspectives and new information.  You will be fluent in French with a good level of English.
