The position of Environmental, Health and Safety Advisor is to assist in overseeing the organisation's Environmental, Health & Safety operations, ensuring high standards are attained, continually improved and all legal obligations are met.
Ideally, the EH&S Advisor will have knowledge of Manufacturing principles and have extensive experience operating in an Environmental, Health & Safety role. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider Environmental, Health & Safety team is key, as is experience working with Occupational Health.
Key duties are to:
Ability to proactively engage, challenge & influence colleagues to deliver Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and drive continual improvement in Environmental, Health & Safety performance.
Assuring the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager and Leadership Teams, by means of appropriate monitoring and intervention, that the company’s operations fulfils its obligations under Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.
To do this you will need a minimum of 5 years development in a comparable role and evidence some, or all, of the following:
